Bras and Camisoles for After Breast Surgery Care

Some women will suffer from this condition long term or for the rest of their lives so it is important that a garment be functional and aesthetically pleasing. Wear Ease, Inc., designs specialty clothing for women, and offers three good and affordable solutions for treating Lymphedema in the chest and trunk:  a Compression Bra (style 790)  and two compression camisoles.  The camisoles are longer garments:  the Slimmer (style 910) and the Crisscross Shaper (style 970) provide good long line compression and an alternative to wearing a bra "round the clock". All three garments are made with pockets for a woman’s prostheses.  Also, they are made from a stretchy but double, hugging fabric that acts like an ace bandage to help give relief and drainage. The Compression Bra by Wear Ease is made of a double layer of Naturexx, a finished fabric, which provides moisture management and a comfortable fit.  Naturexx is a powernet which has been the accepted industry standard for over 30 years.  Powernet consists of a flexible, open hexagonal, net construction which is specifically developed for strength and to apply pressure both vertically and horizontally resulting in four-way, even compression.   The bra has a wide bottom band and a length that works well for women of all sizes (XXSmall – 3X).  Straps adjust at the shoulders with small and secure hooks.  The discreet front zipper has an underlining to protect sensitive skin. The Slimmer and the Crisscross Shaper are constructed of a smooth and cool fabric of 80% nylon and 20% spandex and provide the following benefits:

• “No band” below the breast
